ABOUT THE PLAY:
Two years ago, Delcita brought down the house in Toronto and New York when she starred in the Plumber. This summer Delcita is collaborating with Shebada in Paul O. Beale's "the Politicians".
Written by P.O. Beale and directed by Bunny Allen, the "Politicians" is a political revue that captures politics in Jamaica. The hilariously funny play deals with political campaigning and the various happenings that the public rarely if ever sees. The play highlights a number of social issues that affect the society as a result of politics and presents politicians on a platform that depicts them as basic humans with agendas, desires, motives and personal issues.
The Politicians opens June 29, 2012 in Toronto and is followed by shows in Scarborough, June 30th, Hamilton, July 1st and July 2nd in Brampton.
